feel so lame

Just had to give myself a talking to so I could take my daughter to a party. ... had to make a big thing with myself to leave money at home so no chance of buying wine

Seems so very silly, sorry to moan but can't talk to anyone. ...you guy's at sr are my only lifeline.
xx

Petals, I had a problem with having money and buying beer. I spent all my money (bought everything). I'm broke now, but I'm sober.

What a great idea leaving the money at home was. You saw a danger and took steps to avoid it. That's brilliant!

I used to leave my bank cards at home when I would leave for work for months, to ward off those trips to the liquor store on the way home!!

If it works, then it works!!

Petals..right now my boyfriend has possession of all of my cards..bank, credit, etc. and as much as I hated it at first not having access to funds..in one way or another, has helped me a cpl times when I was tempted..so I think what you did for yourself was actually quite smart- good idea!
