New jobs are like buses...
...So you're sitting around twiddling your thumbs, and all of a sudden two opportunities come along at once!!!
I have been offered an internship, and I am super-duper excited!! My dad cried when I told him, so I was sorry about that.
it is a nine month internship with the possibility of something more if I keep the bosses happy. The pay is not very good, but I decided to take it as it will get my foot on the corporate ladder and it will get me used to a routine: being in bed at 11 pm, up at 7 am and making a packed lunch for work, instead of being up all night watching Netflix.
I will be staying at my Grandma's until I find my feet. Maybe after the wedding shenanigans I will look into finding an apartment with a couple of others!!
Something clicked after my last slip. I can't explain what exactly, but my therapist and others have remarked on the change in me. Who would have thought that my darkest days (the slip) would have led me to great joy (my job)?
We can accomplish great things when we put down the bottle and the world is definitely mine for the taking!!!

right on! congratulations. 
I am hoping a bus comes along for me soon.... been a few stressful months of the threat of unemployment weighing on me. A lot of efforts to find something new, a lot of silence in response.
I hold faith that the right thing will emerge at the right time.

Congratulations! That is wonderful news... I think taking a low salary to build relationships in a company you like is a very wise strategy. Even if the job itself doesn't become full time, 9 months is definitely enough time to network like crazy and impress people in different departments.
