Welcome, jp123, to SR.

To become a part of a "smaller" community here at SR, you may want to join a "Class"; there is currently a class of October 2014 and Dee74 (one the Moderators) will open a Class of November on November 1st; joining a class is great way to get to know some members who are close to the same stage as you in your journey to sobriety. Just click on the link and start posting to join.

When you sign-in, scroll down and you will find many special groups (Newcomers, 12-Step, Women in Recovery, Christians in Recovery, Secular Connections, Grief and Loss, Substance Abuse, just to name a few). Again, just click on the link to dig deeper.

By clicking your way through the site, you will quickly become acclimated. I will send you a link to the Class of October in another post.
