My First Meeting

Went this morning. Wished I was the color of the wall so I could blend in. Didn't answer when they asked about newcomers. Finally when time came to share I nearly broke down. It felt nice to admit it and have them all know exactly what I meant. So many came up afterwards and told me I made the biggest step. I see the power of support. I'm not at all religious but that won't stop me from attending the next one. What an incredible system.

You will never find a group of people who understand you more than a group of drunks. Your higher power can be anything. For me it is the group conscious. We need each other

you have met your power greater than you, sober people, well done. Reach out for a sponsor and go blah so you can get past the alcoholic head. We want you to get better.

Awesome. be sure and try several different meetings if you can. Each group his it's own personality, so to speak. You'll find a group that.

there is absolutely no need to be religious to receive the gifts the program offers.

I'm glad you had that experience and I hope you'll keep on that path, it really does help, it really does work!

Good for You!!!
The power of confession is cleansing and as deep seeded in the human spirit as life itself!

Keep coming back, it hurts then it works~!
