*Then like a thunderbolt, a great thought came. It crowded out all else: "Who are you to say there is no god?"

I heard this at the last AA meeting i went to...It got me thinking. I've never denied the existence of a god/HP...But I've never actively sought him out either.

For some reason...I think he sought ME out 22 days ago. That's the day of my last drink...That's the day i blacked out on the subway platform and awoke in the hospital scared/bewildered and aggressive.

For some reason these words jumped off the page. I don't know HOW i came to in a safe place that night. It certainly wasn't me that was guiding me there.

I think that night God basically knocked me off my feet with a message.
*This part of your life is OVER. It ends tonight!...I think he might have been angry with me too..LOL*

22 days later and i have NO desire to drink today. For whatever reason this traumatic event seems to have opened a communication line I've never had in my life before.

Whatever it is. It's New...and it's welcomed.

I dunno if there is a God or not, but something or someone might have been looking out for me too when I got Sober, who knows?!!
