well, helluuuuuuuu,
went hunting this AM, got there too late - they were about 15 yards from my spot as I walked in, should have been a good hour earlier - slept in, going out in a couple hours till dark, hunt from ground in morning and tree in afternoon - hate going up a tree in the dark, easier getting down tho,
have to wash clothes again with scent free soap and descent everything every time, I tell the wife , no kisses or hugs because I already took my shower, can't have any type of scent, especially wife scent

I called in sick to work. Not even remotely feeling ill but I wanted a day to just do nothing.
I got a lot done doing nothing around the house so far!!! Doncha love doing nothing!

I am hoping to spend some time meditating this weekend. I am not sleeping well. Maybe get some exercise in. I can't believe I am shotgun this week! At any rate, I am in. I am still sober andI look forward to reading how and what everyone is doing.

just want to say, there is someone posting disguised as weasel, don't be fooled...
last night I listened to two owls bantering back and forth, there is a heron near where I hunt and a bunch of other birds and critters, hunters know the smaller they are the more noise they make,
yesterday afternoon I took a walk in the rain in the local forest. took my GPS tracker to see how it performed, I walked into a place I never went before to see if gps would track me. I got about a mile into the woods and then tried to find my way back without gps. I came out almost exactly where I went in from a different heading. then walked back to jeep. I checked the GPS and my start and end point were about 500 yards apart on the tracker - the same spot! Was good to be able to walk into a rainy forest and find my way back after wandering around without sun to help. I am getting my sense of direction and time back. I used to be like Mr. Spock. I could tell you what time it was within a minute or two at any given time. I'm getting better again.

I have 4 kids and wasn't home for almost 6 days, I'm going to hopefully make a dent in this hurricane disaster zone they created lol. Gonna bring my kids to their hockey games, take time to read and make sure I journal any and all thoughts!

I have the day off tomorrow,
People have been getting uppity at work so i think it's time to avoid some of the stuff thats been flying round and concentrate on making my room and home comfortable .
I might also go for a walk in the park if it seems nice enough , although i think it's going to be wet and windy tomorrow .

I've heard that there is supposed to be a partial eclipse today. Around rush hour I heard. If it isn't raining maybe I would be able to see it.
Waiting is hard. For the day to be over. For the weekend to start. I need to stop trying to push the days to pass faster. My second pantry cabinet is coming saturday. Guess I can put it together.
