Scarred !!!

Aloha, first time to this site and 2nd of no drinking and I'm scarred as hell that I cant do this

Aloha Puma. We're so glad you found us.

I was scared too - it meant letting go of my crutch, my buffer. Even though it was destroying my life and I knew alcohol meant to kill me. Being among friends who care was so encouraging. Everyone understood - no one judged. We're here to help. You can definitely do this.

Hello Puma, welcome, I was scared to, but I'm not drinking, so far. It's an amazing feeling to be sober. Stick with us, there is lots of help and support on here.

There is nothing wrong with being scared. There are healthy fears and unhealthy fears after all. This is a great place for support, as is AA, Smart, Rational Recovery, Celebrate Recovery, etc.

And by the way Sobriety rocks.
