2 weeks - blah

Well it's been two weeks again and I am doing ok, but today has been a slow, drawn out day. I haven't done anything or feel the energy too, yet it is a perfect day today, 70f and partly cloudy and I wasted it staring at the tv laying on the couch.

It's ok though, I woke up this morning sober, and I will tomorrow morning as well. I know for fact this will get better, just gotta get through the BLAH days so I can enjoy the YAY!!! days.

Hope tomorrow is a YAY day

I struggled at this point too, day 14 sucked. One day at a time.

Mikie, I felt that way a lot last week. We had some great weather and I felt bad for not feeling good! I know we're all different, but this weekend (my 3rd sober) was some better. I think will be nice here in the south all week.....hope you get out and enjoy the sunshine a little.

Early sobriety is full of ups and downs. It will get better with time.

I went for a drive after that post, went and saw mom for a minute and then went downtown for a quick walk around. I came home and took a shower, ate.. well let's just say I ate "some" ice cream, and am happily back on the couch sipping water and getting sleepy.

The hard days are hard, but I am not drunk. I am me... the good and the bad.

Sounds like you ended up having a really good day. It's the little things, right? Ice cream sounds great, and I've already destroyed all the Halloween candy!
