I'll probably get more empathy if I said I was thinking about drinking. I KNOW that would just have my life become a cluttered mess.

You've got my empathy, I totally get the catch 22 you're in with groups/alone. I fought against the idea of groups for years. But you're in a group here. Maybe this can be a stepping stone.

You have my empathy, too, airwick. Finding that comfortable place - that place where you are okay in your skin while able to be around others and feel relaxed. It can be a delicate balance.

Not at all necessary to do groups.
Crying is good - something is needing to come out, so crying does that.
Alone is my natural state. I'm at peace with that. This site is great for introverts.
