Day 5 Feeling alive and well
Well day 5. Things going better then expected, had a long talk with the wife about me stopping drinking this time and why this time is different. Found out my secret drinking was not so secret after all she did not know what to do and figured it would pass. I knew I was getting near the end of the rope did not realize I was out of rope. Im thankful for that little voice that tells you not to drink. It is time to listen. Being married for almost 30 years and coming that close to losing it all is scary and very sad. She let me know that I really don't have a lot of changing to do, just stop drinking. Well to lose that for a bottle of booze is just not worth it. I would rather wake up with her then that nagging hangover. Got to go, going to do something fun today, together and I will remember it. Thanks all come on day 6
