Day Two Again
On Day two again, have stopped many times before then figured just 1 or 2 will be okay. Well reading many of the posts I agree with most of you, it's none. I wish I would have found this information a long time ago but I'm here now and I plan on staying, for me, my family, and friends. I'm better without the booze and I know it. Two days ago I woke up feeling very bad a thought passed through my head, I have woke up more days hung over then sober, thats pretty sad and it time to get on with my life with a clear head and enjoy the day rather then wanting to get it over with. Well thats enough for now just wanted to say hi and try out this posting thing. Its probably a good thing.

Hi Choosingsober, welcome. I am newly sober (day 6) and so glad I made the decision. There are so many people on here with so much knowledge and advice, it's a great place of support.

Hi and welcome to what can be a great period of life if we don’t have that first drink. It’s that simple tho not always easy but it works every day.
Of course there is more involved especially for long term recovery which requires a bit of work one day at a time.
