Day 90

If you told me I'd be here 90 days sober when I started out, I don't know if I would have believed it. It took a bit of time to truly grasp the enormity of the commitment I had made, but the glimmers of what was possible in a sober life kept me moving in my new favorite direction, forward. I stopped regretting the past. I forgave myself and others. I accepted that I deserved a good and happy life. I thought positively. I came here every day and got help in the weak moments, and tried to give help where I could.

I know 90 days is not a lot. But I feel like I have grown more in this short time than I did in the past ten years.

My profound and humble thanks to the people here at SR. My support, and now, my friends. I would not be here without you.

90 freaking days. Hallelujah.
