Exactly 3 weeks today
Been sober exactly three weeks today. What has brought me to this point. I would have to say the fellowship and support i have recieved through the people at AA. The first meeting i went to i did nothing but listen and cry. I was fortunate to immediately get a sponsor. I check in with her everyday. I have gone through the first step, and am looking forward to the 2nd. I have always resisted AA thinking i was never that bad,, but when i refer back to the list of all the miserable things ive done when i drank, reality hits. So yes.. AA is definately working for me,, for the first time in my life i have hope,, and the courage take the bull by the horns and beat this thing. I am so looking forward to next Thursday where i will take that one month chip,, its the tip of the iceburg, but a definate milestone for me.
