Summer is nearly over. Had to wear pants this morning. Not crazy about it but ain't gonna drink over it.

Lol. Yeah I'm not thrilled to be putting away my sandals. I hate closed toe shoes!

Jen, I wasn't going to bring up the socks thing but I'm not happy about that either (plus I'm not sure the title would have the same draw for the across-the-ponders).

Ireland's not a great place for seasons, rain, then a few days of dry, then back to rain, temperature doesn't fluctuate too much!!

Have never worn opened toe footwear in my life, unless on holiday in another country!!

It's still 90 here in CA . I'm anxious to get into my sweats and flannel sheets, and tackle cooler weather projects outside.

Awww... you made me chuckle annataboy. I could actually hear a grumpy somewhat Eyeore voice when I read it. Yup. Not gonna drink over it. Spectacular.

I actually pulled out some winter stuff today and kind of got excited bout clothes and shoes I forgot about. Maybe it's a girl thing.

Nuu, I get excited about my winter clothes too! I'm in south FL, so it's not very cold for very long. I'm mainly excited about tights and boots. Pants are overrated. I go without them as often as possible.

A month or so ago, I saw a guy strolling through town wearing a kilt(?). T'was more like OD green cargo shorts let out and sewn as a ..well..a knee-length skirt. It was like 100 out and I was thinking "Right On, that looks comfortable" (to myself). Later in the day when I related this story to my wife and 2 tween daughters I got a "Don't even think about it!", an "ew!" and another "ew!"

It's going the other way here Downunder

I'm wearing shorts as I type and its 11.11pm.

My legs look like milk bottles and will do all summer. Scottish heritage, I just burn, peel and it's back to milk white.

UtiliKilt! They are awesome. I had one ordered but the company went under

I need to get remeasured and order another.

Florida for the win! Its still upper 80's here. No danger of pants.

I also vote "yay" on kilts.

They're . . .well. . .

But yeah, I wore jeans yesterday for the first time. By 1PM I was wishing I hadn't, though.
