I've always bitten my nails, at least since I was a kid. After having a seriously bad nibble in the early days of being sober, a couple of weeks ago I thought to myself 'That's pretty vile, I think I'll stop doing that.' And I did. Now I have finger nails. I even cut them for the first time in decades the other day. Heck, I might even get a manicure lol

I know it's a minor thing, but I'm a bit chuffed. :=]

Hi Andy i was the exact same i recently gave up too its nice not having to hide my hands no more my nails are scratchworthy lol

Hey thanks guys. Soberwolf, you're totally right. It is a bigger deal than I'm making out. I've always hated biting my nails. A lot. It's a grand thing :=]
