My Day Six Has Been a Bioche

My AV hasn't bothered me at all today. But for some reason I've been mildly depressed all day. I assume it's just a part of the withdrawal because I'm not normally prone to depression.

I'll get through it though. I don't drink!

I too have been melancholy . I think it is because I know I am not going to drink into oblivion tonight ( first sober Friday ) ...and being 100% aware of all my feelings is tough.

Great job on making it to day 6. Keep up the good work. It does get easier. I was depressed and had to fight my AV hard the first 7 days.

Never let your guard down!

Best of luck.

When I quit for a couple weeks the depression didn't subside until around day 7. The first day after a binge seems to be the worst.

Great job on making it to Day 6! During the first week, I felt like I was in a complete fog. It has gradually lifted since then. Hang in there.

Hang in there!!

The body needs time time to adjust both physically and emotionally, it can wipe away years of drinking in a week, it's gonna take time!!

You can do this!!
