Day7

Well this is the longest ive been without a drink in years. Im not sure what I was expecting. I think I was hoping for more than this. The cravings I feel like are getting worse. Or atleast more intense. Maybe because its close to the weekend, maybe because the first 6 days i was occupying myself with things that i neglected while drinking and now I have them done. I hate having free time. Ive been working on hobbies, but there isnt any hobby that can keep me occupied for as long as drinking would keep me occupied. Guess im gonna just keep reading things on here and calling some AA friends. Good luck today everyone.

One week is terrific! I don't know if you can exercise or not, but it sure helped me curb the cravings.

I didn't feel great the first week, after all I drank for years.

Give yourself some time nuffsEnuff.

Great job on 1 Week!!

Be patient, the body can't wipe away years of drinking in a week, give it time!!

Congratulations on Day 7! You can do this. The first week was the hardest for me, and it's getting better thanks to sleep and ice cream.

Congratulations on your week nuffs

You've yourself a little time - if you're like me, you drank for years - a week is great but things are gonna be weird for a little while yet

When I finally sobered up, I found myself with so much free time that I didn't know what to do with it. All hobbies and interests I once had were slowly replaced by drinking years ago. You going to have to rediscover yourself in sobriety but it won't happen overnight.
