Feeling proud

Day 5 and this is when I usually fail, however tonight I was very tempted to call at the liquor store on my way home, but I ignored the temptation and came home and got a bath and read a book with my daughter, and now the urge has gone and I'm so proud I didn't take that first drink!

You should feel proud too. Looking back, I count resisting that burst of strong temptation early in my recovery as the turning point for me, and I'm sure it will be for you too.
