My first AA..........

Was amazing! So happy I went to my first ever meeting this evening! Awesome people and very emotional in places as it was the first time ever I had been in a room where people truly understood my issues, as they were their issues too!

Off to bed now to read my 12 steps!

Thanks again to everyone on here who convinced me to go and have stood by me, you guys are truly amazing!

Hello Buggirl,
Congratulations! We always say "Keep coming back...it works if you work it", meaning working the program and finding your own personal power to lead a life of true freedom. Free from ever taking a drink again. It works for me, I will have 125 days sober tomorrow, and am looking forward to going to bed tonight and waking up sober to celebrate another day.
