Bad day

At work having a terrible day. Everything is getting to me, have in my head that the people I care about most are always putting me down and talking be hide my back which gets me all worked up til I'm just depressed. My self esteem is shot. I been feeling good passed couple of weeks maybe this is just part of my recovery. Thanks for listening just needed to write this down.

Hi MyTime,
That was my Monday. Just a rotten day. Sorry you are having one.
I hope that not all your days are bad ones and you get your fair share of good ones too.

Hang in there. Vent away.

I think everyone has bad days - addict alcoholic or not - MyTime

I'm sorry if you have toxic people in your life. I did my best to rid myself of everyone of those kind of people.

I hope you'll feel better tomorrow...and I think your self esteem will be healthy again if you give recovery the chance...it's not an overnight change, but have faith

D

Just keep in mind that it's one bad day and tomorrow will be better. I suffer from depression and have to remind myself of that frequently! You're doing great

Hi.
No one ever said life will be wonderful and fuzzy when we stop drinking as life happens. You perhaps had a bad day but please don’t let it become the start of a bad life by picking up. With sobriety we learn how to deal with bad moments and move forward learning from them. Many discover that staying sober requires change within us and it takes time.

BE WELL

Please feel free to vent...I am right there with you. I don't feel depressed necessarily, but very irritable, and I am noticing a lot of things, small and large, which I numbed through drinking. I hope things get better for you soon.
