Day 3

Monday was day 1, Hope it works this time, I just finished the book AVRT, very good book,, Does any one else use this Addiction diction to help with the quitting?

Yes I use AVRT and some gems from AA, etc. here on SR...Best of luck to you!

I personally dont perscribe to any one method. Ofcourse I havent been successful yet. I think all methods have good points. But if you go to AA meetings, they will knock AVRT, you go to out patient programs they will refuse to go to AA or NA. AVRT's will knock the steps. You find out whats good for you, but keep an open mind to anything. Unless there is a program that is to drink the addiction out of you. Im pretty sure that wont work.

Hi! I'm on day 2 and reading rational recovery. Read it once before and quit for 5 days but at the time I didn't really want to stop drinking. I thought I could moderate. Now I know that for me it's stop completely or nothing. I can relate far more to this than to AA. Fingers crossed it helps both of us. And keep posting
