Where would we be without SR?

I basically would be screwed,

Quite possibly divorced, jobless and maybe even dead!

When I used Google to try and find something/someone/somewhere to help me with my ever increasing drinking problem, I never thought that I would find somewhere as good as this.

SR has been with me through some of my lowest moments in my life over the last few years and the advise and support given by you guys has been first class.

Thank you.

Bruno.

I, for sure, would have probably boozed last weekend.

This place and the goals I posted in here helped me stay on track.

I'd be drunk, hurting someone I love or be dead.

That's all drink has to offer me now.

I don't know where I'd be, but I am certain that SR has proved to be a valuable weapon in my sobriety tool box. I stumbled across this site when I had 2 months of sobriety. Now I have 2 years!

Can't say. My decision to taper and quit was made 2 days before I found SR but I've been here daily ever since. I probably would be at more AA meetings.

I never got sober longer than 1-2 days for several years before starting to be active on SR. And since then I have not relapsed. Surely it's also my commitment to recovery and working on it in other ways as well, but I learned mostly from SR how to get and remain sober, what to do and what not to do, plus simply the connection with so many great people has been extremely valuable for me. I also learned a lot of things about myself through my SR experience. This community has been far more than a tool for me, and I have the feeling it will continue to influence my future as well.

I'd be trying to justify my using to my mirror me rather than anonymous people on the internet. I'd also most likely be dead without SR but I'm still kinda alive.
