Day 26

Hi everyone! I'm on day 26 and feeling great! I'm exercising and losing weight. I've been hanging out with my family and doing great at work!

The only negative thing I have to report is that I smoke an insane amount of cigarettes and drink an even MORE insane amount of coffee.

Any idea why this is? It really started kicking in last week. I am not really complaining, it's just weird.

well done on 26 days justin.
many of us - at least I did - use something else when we first quit. for me it was chocolate and junk food type stuff. eventually I grew out of it. one thing of concern is you are taking in nicotine and caffeine, two 'other' drugs.

good that you are not drinking, but be aware of the smoking and coffee and try to cut back if you can. substitution works to an extent but don't let it become you.

Congratulations on 26 days, that is amazing!!! I smoke more when I stop drinking. However, someone here posted that there is more long term success to be found in alcohol abstinence if you quit nicotine as well. It might be worth considering.
As for the coffee, I found that without the hangover and general low feeling I could not handle as much caffeine and so my consumption actually went down.
Could you try replacing the coffee with an herbal tea? Or decaf coffee?
