don't know anyone

Been sober awhile but don't have any buddies yet.
Wanted to try this site. Was chatting with a guy from program but text ended abruptly. ??? What's up with that,?

Sounds better than the meetings here in seattle. Miss the easy friendliness in phx. Have to be patient with the fomalities here.

Welcome to SR, there are always people up and about on here for support and to "chat". A good place to come. In real life it takes some time but doable. If at first something falls through,try,try again, with someone else more receptive. That's what works for me.

When I moved to Minneapolis a long time ago I felt like the new kid on the block and it was tough to find friends as an adult but I did it. Volunteer work helped with that.
