Is it impossible?

I just wanted to say I love this site and it has pushed me farther to sobriety than I was before I got this app. Although I still can't quit these I'm feeling it's impossible! I take 4-6 tab 10's a day. It's hard to quit because they are ALWAYS available. I have contacted a few rehab center to see if that is an option. My bf calls me weak because I am wanting to go to rehab I don't really care but that is the kind of "support" I have. Every single day I pray I get sober please God help me. Everyday I do the same thing and make an irrational decision in the morning to take them. I can't quit I've tried I want to give up. Just wanted to vent thanks SR.!

Recovery is hard work but it can be done if you want it badly enough.

There is absolutely nothing weak about rehab. The desire to go to/going into rehab shows courage and determination.

Alcohol is my DOC and it could not be any more available. Availability is just my addiction talking. They give away free samples at my grocery store and it is my choice what I do

Its not weak asking for help what is weak is letting pride take over and thinking oh I'm not bad my health is fine I'm not as bad as the homeless on the streets or those with cirrhosis.....how long can we lie to ourselves?

The fact you are on here is a step forwards , your not weak but you wont get better unless tough and difficult sometimes impossible decisions are made

Some days you will scream for the espasim off your choice but the brain can be re trained

Pain, emotional or physical is always there we lie to ourselves and close friends that we need to get intoxicated to feel better it only makes matters worse

You say you take tablets ? What are these?

I'm rooting for you, start to look into yourself and get strength come on here you will improve put it this way you can't get any worse

Rooting for you

I completely disagree with your boyfriend calling you weak. You are strong enough to be reaching out for help and you will get through this. Do whatever you have to do to get sober.

It takes a tremendous amount of strength to reach out and ask for help. Far more strength than trying to do it on your own
