Every day gets better and better

Im only on day 8 of recovery,,yet it seems its been a lifetime ago since i took that last drink. Im really beginning to enjoy life again. I love getting up early and not hungover and having that quiet time to myself. Then off to the gym to workout ( oh how ive missed that) then off to a full day off work. This is effortless now,,and i appreciate that i am able to actually do these things with a clear head..and a positive outlook. Things just look different when your sober. Instead of drinking after work,, i went for a long walk with my teen,, really special quality time ive missed out on for so long. Its all the small simple things in life,, that mean so much right now.. i would never give this up for the world. Im loving my sobriety .

Congratulations! The mornings free of hangovers and self-reproach are the best reward.

Wonderful! I am on day 7 and this past week has been clouded by a severe head cold. I look forward to a clear head, and a workout routine as well! Keep up the great work!
