I'm sure a lot of you aren't into extreme metal, but it's come to light recently that an individual in the black metal community has been stealing from friends and fans alike, supposedly to fuel his heroin addiction. In this article, though, the author explains that even before he started using, he was always just a manipulative person pulling similar stunts to get ahead. I have a couple friends that have played in other bands with this person, and tales of deceit and theft echo the ones mentioned here.

Anyway, worth a read, even if you're not a metal fan. Addiction can do craaaaazy things to people.
