intermittent chicken
So I was reading this on Butterfly's post when I got home from work last night. I read it again in the wee hours of the morning. My question is, is this done intentionally. Is this a part of the disease or a symptom, or is it really an intentional thing? Just trying to wrap my head around it while working on my own recovery!
Wendy.....I think it is almost always "unconscious". People just learn what works when they want to get their way. It is human behavior (and, animal behavior--LOL).
Even toddlers learn what works for them and what doesn't. It doesn't just belong to alcoholics!..LOL.
Alsoholics become very good at learning how to get their way in relationships. Especially with co-dependents! They can play a co-dependent like a harp.......
