Almost 3 years sober!!!
Almost 3 years sober!!!
Its been a hard rough 3 years, im making it but I can feel myself slipping. It should be easy now right? So many memories from childhood and adulthood that I pushed back are coming at me full force. I gotta stay strong for my kids and myself. I have so much to loose.

Ystadgalvan, almost 3 years is so FANTASTIC, congratulations. I've been lucky, after about a year sober all the junk vanished from my brain and hasn't bother me since. Rootin for ya.
I would've thought by three years it would be easy and great too. But it still can be a challenge. I've come this far, might as well keep going. The memories are a trip for me also, random things pop into my head that I had long forgotten about. I think there's still slow but steady improvement ahead if we keep at it. Congrats on three years, keep up the good work!

Hi ystadgalvan - welcome
I think recovery is not always a straight line..sometimes you'll find the way ahead is pretty rocky...but I think that's the same in life for anyone, recovering or not?
It's not always a flaw or a fault in you
You'll find a lot of support and advice here
