Day 2 (again)

I'm on day 2 again! Wohoo! I think a big part of staying sober is making a plan. Tonight, my best friend and I are going out but we are going out where there is no alcohol served. My friend from NC is coming to MN next week, and we are going out to dinner, but I already told her I won't be drinking.

I know it's just Day 2, but I am happy to be here, and appreciate all of your support.

I'm a big fan of plan making. At first, like you, I had lots of little plans for what if this, or what if that. Eventually I made a more comprehensive plan that just dealt with me - I was , after all, the common denominator in all the what ifs.

Keep it going! You can do this.

Have a great Day 2 Kirsten. It's helping me to have a plan too - enough to keep me busy but enough space for me to not overstress.

Ditto what walkinganewpath said. Yes, make a plan, but not so much that it stresses you out. Helped and continues to help me in my journey forward sober.

You can do it. Hugs.

Welcome to Day 2! It's all about the plan-- and the back-up plan-- I'm finding.

Well my plan has changed. I have come down with a cold overnight, so I will be going nowhere. Day 2 will still be wine-free as I have none in the house and threw away all of my wine openers. I am working from home today, and then plan on some R&R to recover from my first fall cold this year.

Formulate a plan and execute it to the letter, that's what will get you through!!
