Little over a year and a half

It's seems slow but things just keep getting better and better! It's also getting easier, I do think about drinking everyday, just not all day anymore. Probation is over in two weeks, I start a new job in one week back into my field. Family is so proud and I'm am thinks so much clearer. My self esteem is back! !

That's awesome! It's amazing how much better life can become when we grow in our sobriety. Doors just continually open in ways I wouldn't have believed could happen.

Charlie - great news and well done, it's always nice when people pop up to show us what we could achieve.

Just remember never to let your guard down....I got to just over 2 years and thought I was cured and that I'd changed forever.....until......I went and did it again.

Congrats on the new job and the self esteem....2 great things to have.

Congratulations, you've done a fine thing for yourself and others. Is the end of probation causing any second thoughts?

The probation ending was a real concern for me for awhile, no so much anymore. I really like where my life is going right now and starting over and losing it all again isn't an option. I just like being free to live like everyone else and no longer having the stigma staged to me anymore.
