I go to a spin class early - then later Jazzercise - then I try to fit in a Bikram yoga class, if not I jump on the recumbent exercise bike in the garage...whilst watching a movie on my iPad.
so exercise right now...
And organizing...boy my husband is going to be pissed when he realizes I went and threw out skin creams and etc that expired...like in 2007, 2003 and etc...but I did because if he has had them for 9, 10, 15 years and still not used them - and they have expired, he probably doesn't need them. I mean if I need liquid Benadryl or something for poison ivy, I will just go buy it.
So yes, organizing and exercising...those are my 2 current hobbies.
And maybe being a better mom and wife...2 neglected areas when I liked to drink EVERY day...

Always enjoyed cooking. Since quitting the booze and smokes, I've developed quite the sweet tooth that I never used to have, so I'm baking a lot more. Cinnamon rolls in the oven while I type.
Also I've had more time to spend on:
- reading
- drawing
- knitting/crocheting
- working out

Aromatherapy - making my own skin creams. Craft things - planning & making gifts for the holidays. Cooking things that take a long time & make the house smell good!
Oh, and now that I don't pass out every night, I enjoy reading again.

I've been seriously lazy, just hit two weeks sober! I've been eating like a pig, browsing the internet and watching movies. I would say that my new hobby is going to need to be exercise and cooking healthy or else I'm going to gain 15 pounds! I think I needed this relaxed recover period though...
Exercising is the main one. Yoga, weightlifting and cycling (stationary or outdoors) mainly but I'm also interested in learning kickboxing. I'd like to do some more like running, swimming, different martial arts but it's finding the time that's difficult.
I also have fallen in love with learning again. Currently reading a few philosophy books which is all new to me. Meditation and Zen Buddhism is something I've developed an interest in also.
I seem to have developed an obsession with combat sports. I had a mild interest in MMA but now I watch it all the time, almost obsessively. Boxing is something I have never been interested in but I find myself watching fights every weekend.

Lots of people say they have returned to hobbies which they let slip when they were boozing. That's true for me. I used to go to evening school to learn a foreign language. I started lessons and I am really enjoying it again now.
Also, I think cooking is a nice hobby. When I lived alone, I used to try to go to church once a week and cook with friends there. That helped a lot.
This winter I'm going to be helping a cold weather shelter for homeless people.

Insanity
Hey Leah try the insanity workout!
That'll keep you occupied for 60 or so days and the only drink you'll crave is water!! Lots of it!!
The 'diet' part will keep your mind occupied too.....you have to eat five small meals per day as your metabolism shoots up....takes a bit of organisation!!
..not recommended if your a smoker. Walk the dog and watch movies if that's the case!

Picked up reading and crocheting again as I actually can do that sober.....
Pinterest, volunteer work, and word puzzles also keep me in line.
I'm dusting off the piano as I would love to start playing again.
Just being present isn't really a hobby, but it sure does feel good
