How I wound up at Al-Anon last night
AH mentioned at 4pm that there was an AA meeting a few miles away at 5:30. He asked if I would go with him. I told him yes, and then when I looked it up online I saw there was an Al-Anon meeting at the same time.
So I told him I would go with him, but I would go to Al-Anon while he went to AA.
It was great being back--like being home.
It was his first AA meeting in decades--he usually makes fun of "those people."
He went to a noon meeting and he's now at a 5:15 meeting. I spent the afternoon making my favorite dish.
