Mixed bag
So in one hour I will be at 9 full days without alcohol (that's the good news).
The bad news is that I have been exercising (specifically weight training) way too hard. I hurt my hand pretty bad today. I'm not sure what's wrong with it, but it only hurts when I move it.
Long story short, the new shock of exercising on top of typing/mousing for 10+ hours 5 days a week has caused a pretty bad strain or something on my hand. (Not to mention taking care of a one year old)
This isn't a huge deal or a cause for relapse or anything. Exercise is such a vital part in my recovery, and I felt it would be worth sharing.
It's not swollen or extremely painful, so I'm just going to take a few days off weights and just do cardio and rest it.

It's kind of interesting when you just get done detoxing. On day 4 my stomach/throat always hurts, my kidneys always hurt, and so does my lower right stomach.
I know I'm as healthy as a recovering alcoholic gets because I had my doctor do blood work etc, but it's still scary how much damage you do during a binge.

You'll have to just rest your hand & do cardio in the meantime plus whatever doesn't hurt your hand.
I did my shoulder in at the gym & you can always find alternative stuff that avoids the injured part.
Perhaps Legs, the pec dec & sit ups for starters.
& get a wrist support too
