I'm back
I almost gave up on recovery but I'm giving it another go. I've been sober for 16 days now and I'm going to AA nearly every day. I've also found three friends in AA who I call every day and that helps too.
My plan is to ask one of them to be my sponsor. Of course, as I sober up I can survey the damage I did when I was drinking recently and it was a real mess.
That makes me feel sad.

Welcome back EndlessPatience. Congratulations on giving sobriety another try. There's another post today about falling off the wagon and getting back on. The trick is to analyze what went wrong and then try something else. Might be a good read.
