spia update2

So, find out husband relapsed. Now, he is being admitted to a rehab. Good for him.

Okay, new for me. I went to my first cr meeting. Looking forward to next week.
Attempted to go to an alanon meeting last night...No one should up except me. So that was a bust. No one could tell me why no one was there.

Third, I'm getting my physical illness under control by going to a doctor tomorrow! Looking forward to my hair not falling out.

And my first meeting with the therapist is on Friday! We've been playing phone tag over the last week and a half. Finally! This are in order for me.

Also, got my book today. Co dependent no more. So let's see how all of these tools lead me to health.
I'm so ready!

wow.

Pulling right out on to the Highway.

Good for YOU!

==================

Sorry on the Alanon meeting. Was there an AA near-by / next door? Just asking about who you had talked to. Was there a sign or anything with meeting times?

Somedays/sometimes are lightly attended, and it is possible to just line up with everybody / nobody being there.

You know about the Alanon Texas site?

http://texas-al-anon.org/meetings/

If you are anywhere around Dallas/Fort Worth, PM me and we can go together.

Spia,

I hope rehab really helps reset the path your H is on!

Good for you on lining up resources for you! I hope you like Codie No More. If you like to highlight, you want a fresh one...

I had looked online for the meeting and find the times. It was supposed to start at 6:30pm. I was early. No one was there by seven.
It's held at a church. The lady unlocked the room for me and said that someone would be there shortly. The hours were new and were posted at the front of the church. There were also all sorts of brochures about the different programs.
I started around for an hour...a bit more. No one came. So I loved the for back and left.

After I colored a picture with crayons. Lol

Spia I could hug you!!!! I started painting. Crayons would have been cheaper. It's really great. I suck but it seems to help me. Go to Joanne's and get the cheapest pack of canvas they have the cheapest set of acrylic paint. Student quality. A cheap pack of brushes and go to town. It kicks crayons butt. I'm sorry your meeting didn't pan out. It seems like you really got your caca together for yourself. Good job. Keep going.

I'm not an artist at all. But, was bored waiting around and didn't want to waste my phone battery. It was a Sunday school room with a multitude of crayons. So I made the best of it lol
I'll try again next week. But, will call ahead of time.

And thanks. I spend my down time knitting. I love it.

We have a Very Tattoo-ed A, who just started back into Alanon today.

Tattoos are very much not my thing, but her's amuse me.

She sometimes knits. With colorful yarn I can barely tell where the knitting stops and her arms begin.

I am currently working on Christmas gifts and my toddler is ever so helpful in mixing up my yarn stash. I spend half the time knitting and the other half unraveling her messes. lol

I just love watching my 16 1/2 month old granddaughter wreck my house. She's here, she's there, she's every where! They are so much fun! Enjoy this time with her spia because it goes way to fast and before you know it, She'll know everything about nothing!

That's one of the most beautiful sentences I've ever read.

Spia, I also knit! It is totally like free therapy for me. I love it, too! Glad you have a hobby you love so much and enjoy.

I agree about the free therapy part! Except, yarn isn't free!

I had my therapy appointment today. I have to write her my auto biography. It's going to be heard!
