Making progress
Last night I was a bit down. Felt lonely and just blah in general. I ended up taking my pup for a nice walk (she's got a hurt knee so I can't walk her too much) then tackled my extra bedroom that all of my unpacked boxes are in. I made great progress and felt better after a productive evening. Maybe that's the key for me. Staying busy and feeling productive.
I'm having a mini girls weekend Friday night and Saturday. I'm going 3 hours away with my friend to spend the night with her daughters and go to a football game Saturday afternoon. (My friend is a non drinker) After the game I'm swinging by a friends moms house to pick up my new puppy.
The puppy is going to require a lot of care and attention the first few weeks which is going to help me in my sober journey. My current 2 year old pup is going to love having a sister and I am totally excited! (And nervous about raising a puppy - housebreaking, etc)
I'm happy to be at day 9 and really starting to feel good except for being sore from all the unpacking yesterday. lol

Sinderos, congratulations on the new addition to your family.
It sounds like you're doing well. I think keeping busy (especially doing fun things like taking care of a new puppy) is the way to go.

Congrats on your new puppy
We got a 10 month old at the end of July and she has been a handful! A learning experience for me We are dealing with a stubborn and hyper Beagle who tries to usurp me and become alpha dog, which just isn't going to happen
