That pesky AV popped up tonight as I was on the way to buy a baby shower gift. Again while I was in the grocery store. I did what someone said worked for them and remembered how I felt when I woke up every morning from drinking like a fish. I also thought of how drinking would hold me hostage as it has for the past 3+ year. Then it hit me that I made it through the night sweats. That's huge! (I can deal with the insomnia if I'm not miserable from sweating. lol)

I'm happy to report that I made it home alcohol free and feeling proud of myself because I didn't give in. Day 5 here I come!!!!

awesome! today was day 5 for me and it was good.. sleeping a little better every night. I'm still working on ingnoring the AV also.

We had a lil party for her and me and my gf bought her ... Her first ever locket and earings she loved it

Made me feel very special indeed makes it all the better when she randomly asks for a hug

I'm going to my niece's baby shower tomorrow. I'm looking forward to it. This time 2 weeks ago I would have been planning what time to leave so I could get home to drink. I'm glad those days are over and I can focus on the important things in life.

I'm glad you had a good time at her party. 4 I such a sweet age!!! I'm sure she loved her gift.

When I got Sober I wrote down the withdrawals I went through and have it as a back up plan should I ever feel like drinking, those are a healthy reminder of what I'd have to go through all over again!!
