Hello All!
I just joined today and am grateful I found it. I have been struggling a lot lately and made the plunge to a safe place to go online because lets face it... there aren't always meetings available when you need one.
My name is Chelle (pronounced 'shell) am a 27 year old female from Alberta Canada
I'm not sure if this matters at all... but many ask so I will just post it. My main addiction is alcohol. I also struggle with an eating disorder as well.
My sobriety date when it comes to alcohol is September 4, 2012... so God willing this is day 2.
I look forward to checking this board out and getting to know some of you!

Hi Chelle. And welcome :-) I'm relatively new myself and I think you'll find this place a big help. I've also struggled with eating disorders in the past, having to be hospitalised at one point. Stay strong, and stay close.

Welcome Chelle, I drank heavily for more years than you have been on the face of this old Earth, if I can do it anyone can. Please post often, especially if you are having struggles. Be strong, someone WILL be here for you.

Welcome chelle.
I only found this place yesterday and soooooo pleased I did. I already feel like I'm not doing this on my own anymore! There seems to be so many nice helpful and understanding people here! My vice is alcohol 10Yrs+ of heavy abuse... 8 days sober for me.
Keep up the good work! Bring on day 3 aye?

welcome cheele, I too just joined this month and feel better for doing so. holding yourself accountable will be the most diffacult through this. stay strong and commit to it every day and then re-commit
