Coming off a binge only YESTERDAY hardly qualifies you to critic this website on it's ability as a resource!!

I think it's a lifeline. What is making you so upset?

This site is actually the best online sober recovery site and you know that. Just because you may not like what you hear, doesn't mean the site is a joke. You've been a member since December of last year. If it was such a joke, you wouldn't have stuck around.

What's going on, CopanoBay?

I respectfully disagree. This site has helped me to a number of sober days.

It's not a joke at all to me. It's helping my life get stabilized.

Sometimes, when we're hurting, we push away those that care You were talking about feeling lonely yesterday - why push us all away today? Talk to us, tell us what's REALLY upsetting you.

Yet back in May you loved us.

Don't worry.

We still are here for you.

I hope your struggles get better soon. I'm pretty sure you know how to get started helping yourself. You deserve better than what you are doing now- what's your plan for tomorrow?

Dah......dant....... tah

But seriously, is everything ok?
Sometimes it seems like there not very much support here. But, it's mostly because there might not be so many people visiting that particular day/time.

It's what you make of it. If you treat it like a joke then yeah, it is. However, for many it's a lifeline and support network.

Have you been drinking...your post sort of sounds like a drunk post.

If you have a problem please share it CapanoBay.
It's pretty hard to help when all you give us are short sentences?

This site is a tool to help people get and remain sober. Like any tool it won't work unless you use it. A perfectly sharpened pencil laying on a piece of blank paper won't write anything if you sit there admiring it. You have to pick it up and do some work.

Sober Recovery didn't "get" me sober Copano, but it did help me to get and stay sober. I found it's all in how I use the site. The tools are here, but I had to take them out of the tool box and use them.

And personally, I've visited a number of recovery sites, and I've found this site to the most beneficial and well run. IMO as far as online recovery forums go, it doesn't get any better than this place

The strong cannot help the weak until the weak begin to help themselves. No one but yourself can change your condition.

Without SR I most certainly would not be sitting here with a huge smile on my face.. I would be sitting here shaking, sweating, having a panic attack, feeling sick & sipping on a bottle of vodka!! That's the joke, not the site!!
