Day 6 - Sleeping issues

I'm not sure if it's related to withdrawing from alcohol or simply a coincidence but my sleep schedule is out-of-whack and I feel exhausted during the day - looking forward to the weekend to try to get on a normal routine.

Oh it's generally related. I don't sleep right for at least a week after quitting. I usually fall asleep for a couple hours starting at 2:00 AM, and wake up around 4:00 AM. And I'm not generally that tired.

I take melatonin which is nice but sometimes gives me a "hangover". I just feel tired for a few hours the next day.

The weird part for me was not being tired. I'd sleep for 2-4 hours and be fully awake the next day.

My sleeping adjusting after a few weeks, for others it took longer!!

The body can't heal or adjust to years of drinking in a matter of days, it's gonna take time, hang in there!!
