Update... I lost again badly my younger brother absolutely destroyed me 3-1

He has been practising and I haven't been practising but that's the way it goes

He seemed really pleased with himself lol

The simple things no matter how small are massive for me I was happy just chewing the fat with my kid brother he's in recovery aswell and its such a beautiful thing 2 brothers completely sober having a laugh bit of banter and getting along

All because I'm sober and he is sober

ha - in the US snooker is used differently than as in the game of snooker - most Americans never heard of it.
Keep practicing.

Funny that LBrain as there are quite a lot of good snooker players from Canada.. I would love to go back to it but might be a trigger as used to enjoy a few drinks & a sarnie during games.. Oh well!!!

I had to look it up. I heard of it but have no clue of the rules and scoring. I watched a vid of Ronnie ORourke scoring a 147 break in 5 minutes. But I think I could figure it quickly just from watching 1 video. red, black, red, black until all reds are in, then colors and black last. 1 pt 7 pts don't know the colors part.
how many colors are there grn, whit, blue? ??

Sorta Brian, 1 red then 1 colour, but the colours have different points, the black being the highest is why it's more desirable and is the only way to create the highest break possible of 147!!

There's 6 colours and then when all 15 reds are gone, the colours are potted in order!!

Purple knight Jamie Burnett done a 148 in the qualifying stage of the 2004 UKchampionship

Also the highest break possible is not 147 it is 155 purpleknight !!

Jamie cope done it in a witnessed practice match in 2005 although there has been 151's recorded also

Yeap, oh I know that, but for our across the Atlantic friends, I thought it better to keep things simple and not include potential points from fouls!!

Just making sure lol tbh I'm glad you like snooker round my way I hardly see ppl playing a few years bk Anthony Hamilton used to train at my club and ronnie I met Anthony but was dumbstruck and I couldn't talk

He said iI've have kittens if ronnie was here again my jaw was on the floor

I compare snooker to chess very strategic
