What do you do to unwind

I typically would reach for a glass of red wine. Are there any teas that you find particularly relaxing? I am so new to this. I find that connecting with nature, riding horses, bike rides helps. But what about at night when I am watching tv and trying to calm my thoughts ?

I like to burn a nice candle, sip something ( I currently like cranberry lemonade, but tea and coco in the winter), take a bubble bath, do some stretching exercises , listen to soothing music and thumb through magazines

Thanks! Some good ideas. I want to the to get into a tea habit. Not sure which ones to try. Green tea is healthy but tastes like crap.

There is a nice caffeine free pumpkin spice out at this time of year There is something quite soothing about the ritual of preparing and sipping tea.

Distance running. Working out. Martial arts.... And balance that with playing guitar, ukulele, time in nature, writing, reading....

Thank you pond lady! One of my favorite parts of fall is craft pumpkin beer around a fire. Pumpkin tea may have to serve as a substitute

Lia, I really like 'fruity' teas like Cranberry-Lemon, Orange Spice, Apple-Cinnamon. They smell amazing and taste really good too.

If I'm pining about something in the evening, I'll drop into push-ups or a plank pose and do them until I drop dead of exhaustion. Then just kinda lay there until every muscle relaxes. Feels awesum.

Watching Family Guy helps, too!

I am 33 days sober, and have an issue with finding something to drink! I have decades of drinking and have mixed vodka with everything!!! (except root beer) Every juice is out! Water is just, well, water!! I really don't like root beer, so I never mixed it except on ice cream! This is interesting to me....ummm a pumpkin drink...sounds crazy, but I am dying inside and out!

That's a tough one. ...I take a walk, watch a movie, read, drink chamomile tea with honey (green tea has caffeine, so be careful!), tonight I tackled a cluttered closet, bake something wonderful, eat ice cream, take a bubble bath, journal. After a while, you get used to not reaching for a glass of wine to unwind.

There is a Sleepytime tea that I drink prior to going to bed. I find it very relaxing.
