This is the first night in months that I haven't drank a half a bottle of vodka. I'm so used watching the clock and when it hits 6p pouring a 6oz drink...followed by several more. I'm tired of waking up hungover and sick...
So...sept 1 seems as good a day as any to stop. I've tried before and failed. The liquor store is literally feet away. It's SO hard when the urge hits, but I'm going to really try this time! Wish me luck...

if you have really been drinking that much, I would be concerned about quitting cold turkey. I suggest talking to a doctor about this.
