Coming here Charliee before reaching for
a drink of poison is perfect. There's always
something, some recovery tool to use first
instead of drinking. Reaching out and asking
for help, asking for suggestions, sharing
why you want to drink so bad right now.
Many times when we talk about what's
bothering us to someone else, to us here
in SR, someone will come along and share
an experience that they used instead of
drinking or numbing their pain.

Charliee, every time you don't give into a craving the more able you are to resist the temptation the next time, and the urge to drink will finally go away. Just tuff it out, suffer through it, you'll be better off because you did, rootin for ya.
