Meraviglioso

Hello all, I have been quite busy this week but doing good and staying the sober course.
I wanted to share just a tiny moment I experienced last night that gave me a great bit of happiness. I was reading the local newspaper and saw an article that mentioned the possibility that a nearby town will host Elton John in concert next summer. I love Elton John, have seen him in concert 8 or 9 times. Anyway, my first thought was "yes! and to think I will be sober and will enjoy this show so much more than the past concerts!"
I was very happy that my thoughts naturally turned to 1. continued sobriety into next year and 2. the real realization of the fact that I do enjoy everything so much more sober.

I know it is a small thing, but it made me really happy.

That's so lovely to hear Mera. I don't think its a small thing because I always associate drinking with fun. I wish to unlearn that and learn to have fun without needing to get drunk.
