Red face Thank you for the SAVE today.

Just a quick note. Thanks SoberRecovery friends for the save today...Bought the alcohol...Posted here on the forum BEFORE drinking it...and NOT AFTER

Small steps...But by doing so it gave me the opportunity to throw it away...(After some kind suggested insistence from several folks here...)

Thrown away...Result is me Sober for the rest of today. I'm learning but GOOD GOD this is tough...

Great job! Just think of the misery you missed. You never have to go through it again. Best to you.

That's a pretty big thing to do in early recovery. Most people cannot do it, but you did. Throwing away bought booze. Congratulations. Keep going, it will get better and easier.

Excellent work. I find it incredible that you were able to post AFTER you actually went out and bought it. You STOPPED yourself mid-relapse action...like right in the heart of it. Nice. I have heard it said that in addiction that the addict starts to feel relief AFTER making the decision to go ahead..

Really good job. Did you get rid of the purchase?

Yes the purchase is gone. Thrown out in the garbage. Where it rightfully deserves to stay. I deserve my sobriety today. It was dicey though I'll grant you that.
