Watched most of a season of Deadliest Catch this weekend. That was good, while it lasted.

I think the last thing I need is to watch a series about a drug dealer/drugs, lol.

I started learning new subjects in my field of work. Watching hours of videos online (probably 10-20/wk). Doesn't sound like much fun but it actually has been. Being much better at what I do has made work more fun, and I just landed a new job last week. Find something you want to learn.

I don't do video games, but I DO do nachos. Though I would choose video games over nachos since I am trying to get down to <190#.

A great game that anyone can pick up easily and play.

Netflix is good too

"dueling network" is good fun too - and free, go Google it.

Hope that helps!

Reading and writing are also good.

Doing "music exploration" is something I also enjoy. Find an artist you like on YouTube, look at the suggestions for other videos, then head down the rabbit hole as far as you want to. Then, get the albums of the ones you like, and listen to them in a peaceful environment. But not just as background music - really listen to them. To do so, I suggest getting proper headphones (Sennheiser) or a real nice hi-fi.

Oh, I did start playing my guitar a lot more again. It's amazing how much better you learn and retain things when you're not drinking.

I know it may sound goofy, but I am starting soap carving. Yep...a bar of soap and some razor knifes and detail / xacto blades. There are free templates online. There are basic ones to "extreme." If in fact you can categorize "extreme" with soap

The good thing is if you mess up your only out a $1.00

I like to work with my hands so its a way to pass free / down time. Beats holding a beer!

Funny! My wife actually OWNS a high-end, handmade soap company! Ha! She'd love (or hate?) it if I started carving all of her soaps!

Online Scrabble became a new addiction for me in early Sobriety, and then I discovered green/white teas as a great substitute to alcohol in the evenings!!

My wife has some of the "high end" soaps. I am already in the doghouse enough so I stick with the Ivory or Zest. haha

Video games with nachos sounds good. I never played WoW, but it sounds like fun. I just finished dragon age origins and will play DA2 later this week. I plan on getting DA Inquisition when it comes out. Love my games!
