New to forums
I am new. I am afraid. I am certain I want to do this. No more self sabotage and sadness exacerbated by the bottle. Wine is my poison and over many years has become my way of dealing with life. I drink at home alone and I feel deeply ashamed of this. I realised that I am longer able to control it. I want to step bak out f my prison and begin living and enjoying life again. Thank you for reading.

Hi Raggletaggle! Wine was my vice for many years. Then it transitioned into vodka with a mixer. Within years it was straight vodka out of the bottle. If you would have told me that 5 years ago I would have never believed you.

Hi and welcome. Alcohol in any form is our poison. If we are alcoholics the first drink is the one we must stay away from. It’s that simple but not always easy. It’s suggested to read a lot of posts both the successful and unsuccessful to get an understanding of this disease. Try to remember it is Powerful, Cunning and Baffling.
