Going on a date..
Moments away from leaving for my date. Yes, I have a date based on something I wrote in the guy's yearbook 30 years ago. I guess he is organizing his reunion and came across my words in the process. Thanks to good ole Facebook he was able to reach out (and even scan/send me a pic of what I wrote lol). I didn't really know him in school. He was a year ahead of me and was in the athletic/academic crowd..and well, I was in the the "party" crowd.
I am pretty sure the last time I actually laid eyes on him last is when I signed that yearbook...
Just primed myself with a Fresca..
Off I go..
This is all rather surreal. I ..so far...don't feel like any sort of craving for alcohol..weird since all dates previous required "wine priming"...
He knows I don't drink. And I don't believe he is any sort of "drinker" himself.
Oh my...here I go.
